Tirzepatide
Description
Tirzepatide is a dual gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It is a synthetic peptide composed of 39 amino acids, engineered to simultaneously activate both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors — a mechanism distinct from single-receptor agonists like semaglutide.
Research has demonstrated that tirzepatide exhibits significant effects on glycemic regulation and body weight reduction through its dual incretin action. Studies indicate it enhances insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, suppresses glucagon release, and slows gastric emptying. The dual-agonist mechanism has shown superior efficacy in metabolic research models compared to GLP-1-only compounds.
Each vial contains 30mg of lyophilized tirzepatide. Store at room temperature prior to reconstitution; refrigerate after reconstitution. For research purposes only.
